Life at Levi Hotel Spa Resort – Our guests in peak seasons
At Levi Hotel Spa Resort, every month brings a different atmosphere and mix of wonderful guests. In December visitors are from Great Britain, often families with children who are absolutely enchanted by Santa Claus and the snowy wonderland. Our restaurants are buzzing (and yes, millions of chips disappear from the plates!). Christmas and New Year are especially international and lively—so busy and joyful you might even forget your own name!
Things settle down a little in January, as our guests are mostly adults. You’ll hear French spoken everywhere, and slowly but surely, the sun begins to return, bringing light back to Levi.
February is lovely mix! Still lots of British and French guests, plus many lovely visitors from Austria. Hotels and restaurants are fully booked! Toward the end of the month, many Finnish guests arrive to enjoy the ski holidays and relax at our Spa Water World.
March begins with international guests but ends with a strong Finnish presence as local holidaymakers arrive.
Levi Hotel Spa
A hotel with history is especially great for families in holiday! It’s like having a holiday in a cozy Lappish cottage but at the same time you have all the restaurant and spa services around you. All the rooms are situated in different buildings around the same yard. Most of the rooms are so called family rooms with beds for 2 adults and 2 children. And between Spa building and slopes we also have the newest hotel building of with Superiors and Junior Suites with indoor access to spa building.
FAQ! Where is the reception? Sometimes clients arriving at the hotel from Levi village side have problems finding the reception. And same reception serves both hotels!
Design Hotel Levi
Beautiful and modern boutique hotel Design Hotel Levi is a work of art. In four floors there are doubles and twins but we also have the best suites in town! Design Hotel guests enjoy breakfast at Kekäle Restaurant during the winter season, while Levi Hotel Spa guests are served a buffet breakfast at Ahku Restaurant.
FAQ! Where can I find the bus stop? The Kittilä Airport bus stops directly in front of the hotel’s main entrance. Other busses — for example, those from Rovaniemi — stop at the regular bus stop located near the spa building.

Buffet Restaurant Ahku is specially busy in breakfast and dinner time

Casual Fine Dining restaurant with a beautiful lounge bar, normally open Tue-Sat and Premium Breakfast for Design Hotel Levi customers
Classic Pizza Restaurant
Great pizzas but also salads and desserts. Also for coctails! And note – we call it Pizza Restaurant, not pizzeria!
Burger King Restaurant
Always busy and who knows it’s also possible to have a beer in BK
FAQ! Can I come to restaurant with a dog? CPR yes dogs, Kekäle dogs allowed in the lobby area, BK no dogs, but dogs allowed in nearby wellness lobby area. Ahku no pets.
Water World
Why do we call it Water World? The main reason is that spas in Finland are a bit different from those in, for example, Central Europe. While a German or French guest might expect a quiet and peaceful spa with relaxing beds and calm surroundings, here in Finland, we enjoy a more lively atmosphere. At our spa, people come to have fun, try out different pools, chat with friends, and bring the whole family — kids included! Laughter and joyful noise are all part of the experience.
That’s why we call it Water World — it’s a place to relax and enjoy yourself, the Finnish way!
The Ailu Family Fun playground is located at the lower ground of the spa building. The combination of the Water World, playground, and Burger King is unbeatable for a family holiday.
FAQ! When is Water World open? It’s open from 12am-8pm (with exception on 24th December) and please always tell also: The latest entrance is at 7pm. Do I have to book in advance? No, no bookings taken.
