Communication is the key

In-house communication is absolutely important for transferring of new information within the department. Speak! Communicate! Spread new information! Upon receiving new information or procedures, inform your colleagues. Good information does not mean that information comes only from your manager, it means you share information with your colleagues and ask if you have any questions!

Department meetings are essential! Prepare and share your opinions as this is the most important point of your work. Meetings are meant for designing something new and looking into the future. Meetings are held 2 to 3 times a month depending on the department. It is important to solve work problems and issues immediately by talking to your supervisor. That being said, if the problem is in any way related to your colleague, speak to them and resolve the issue in the best way.

Levi Hotel Spa Resort works mainly in two shifts. Your work shifts can be found in your department’s shift schedule which is displayed on the bulletin board. Changes to the schedule must be agreed between the employee and the supervisor in advanced. Overtime is always negotiated between the two parties as well. Leaves are only allowed with the permission of the supervisor.

Meals
Work meals (breakfast, lunch or dinner) are charged according to the cost determined by the tax administration. Meal vouchers can be purchased at the reception (5 vouchers in a bundle a 7,22€) Or you mark when you have eaten and it will be reduced from your salary. Employees may dine in Ahku restaurant or the staff room, separate rest room also in spa building. And you may enjoy free coffee, tea and hot chocolate during shifts.

Staff Orientation At the beginning of the employment or internship, the department superior shall be the one responsible for your orientation. Getting to know the workplace and the environment, as well as your colleagues ensures that you get off to a good start.

Dress Code & Personal Cleanliness Every employee should have a clean appearance. Each department has its own dress code but the common rules for all employees throughtout the company are: No strong makeup, face piercing, no strong parfum, long hair is held up, good personal hygiene

Mutual respect for Co-workers In the customer service industry, the customer is always the most important, but your colleagues are as equally important. Mutual respect between co-workers is essential. One of the job description of a senior colleague is mentoring new employees. All forms of discrimination and bullying are prohibited

About the employment

Environment & Equipment We ensure that our work environment is clean and safe for both staffs and customers. We immediately report deficiencies and problems to the supervisor. Work equipment must be used properly and hotel property is not for personal use without the permission of the supervisor.

Mobile Phone Personal mobile phone calls don’t belong to working time. Company phones are for business calls only.

Social networking During office hours, only social networking regarding work is permitted.
